Projection change

Question

What's I'm doing wrong or why this change.

I'm defining a projection "NAD 1983 UTM Zone 10N" but, when reopening the layout, the projection change to "GCS North American 1983 UTM Zone 10U (Calculated)".

Why such a change?  I change many time to the projection I want, save etc. but, always returning to the calculated one.

Hi Aubri,

In map or in layout, I select the map, right clic to Map Properties, selecting Coordinate Systems and choosing my system.  Everything works as expected, the coordinate system is right and the dynamic text for projection show this projection.  But, mostly returning to the calculated one when reopening the layout.  Very frustrating.

How are you changing the projection? Are you doing it with the layer or the map? Where are you checking the projection in the layout?
