Map glitch when zooming to new location

Hi all,

I noticed that when I zoom to a new area of the map using a reference or summary table, the map does not always refresh, and leaves "ghost features" that were previously there.

You can see the "ghost" features in the bottom left of the map. They go away if I zoom in and out. This only happens if I change location through selecting a different option on a summary or reference table.

Just following up on this. I've tried replicating the issue several times with different datasets, but to no avail, making it difficult for me to identify what the issue might be.

Would you mind answering a couple of follow-up questions to help us evaluate the issue?

- Does this happen frequently or was it just with that particular workbook?

- Do you know what version of ArcGIS Insights you're using? Also, are you on Enterprise/Desktop?

I'll keep attempting to replicate the issue in the meanwhile.

Hi Ian,

It just happens with one layer in the dataset - which is the weird thing. I just noticed it with this workbook. It is a point feature class with a cross symbology. I have the map synced with a summary table and use the summary table to zoom to each location, which is when the issue occurs. If I zoom there through a filter or other means, it doesn't happen.

I am not yet on the newest version - I'm working through Portal and I don't think it's been released quite yet. I'll let you know if it does! It's not a huge issue for me.

You know what, it's not happening anymore. I made a summary table with the polygons underneath, and that's when the "ghost features" were showing up. However, it is not showing up when I zoom using a summary table from the points feature class.

It’s still odd it did this at all, though, so I’ll keep playing with it and thinking about what could have happened.
