ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.23 is available

With the ArcGIS API for JavaScript, high-performance 2D and 3D web mapping apps can be created. The new version 4.23 brings many cool new features, here is an excerpt:<\/P>

• Animated Flow Renderer for visualizing information about flow direction and strength for meteorological and oceanographic raster data is out-of-Beta and has been expanded, e.g., the flow direction can be changed<\/LI>
• The spatial reference of the map can be changed at runtime, either by changing the spatialReference property or by switching the basemap<\/LI>
• Cool heatmaps in 3D scenes can be draped either on the ground or on integrated mesh layers.<\/LI>
• New Weather Widget – you can choose between sunny, cloudy, rainy, and foggy. For cloudy and foggy, the intensity can be adjusted with a slider.<\/LI>
• Virtual light – now instead of the sun, your own light source can be defined in the 3D scene<\/LI>
• Editor Widget has been significantly expanded, e.g., with snapping controls and batch feature creation<\/LI>
• Feature Form Widget now supports Contingent Attribute Values and Calculate Fields with Arcade<\/LI>
• Feature Table Widget has received significant updates, e.g., sorting by multiple fields and a menu for selections, refresh data, and show/hide columns<\/LI>
• New RouteLayer for creating, visualizing, and saving routes<\/LI>
• And further improvements in documentation (CIMSymbols), authentication (Oauth2 with PKCE by default), new functions for spatial statistics and 3D analyses, and much more.<\/LI><\/UL>
