Polygon Feature Class Geometries Suddenly All Null

Question

I had a feature class with stormwater catchments that I had delineated but after making some edits and saving the changes, all of a sudden every feature has null geometry. I had been running a model to compare my catchment area to the clients catchment area, modifying my catchments, and then running the model again when it happened. I ran Repair Geometry and it doesn't do anything.

Is there any way to fix this or do I have to start all over? Also why did this happen?

I am just working off my local drive. I do have a backup but its missing all of the tedious minor changes, so at least its not a complete loss I guess. Hoping this was just a fluke as it has never happened before.

Hello Alex,

Very unfortunate this has happened!  Does your IT department take backups of your drives or were you working from your local hard drive?  If you had the data stored to a server or a network drive you may be able to get your IT department to restore it.
