ArcGIS Runtime has received another update. With the various ArcGIS Runtime APIs, native 2D and 3D geo-apps can be developed for all relevant platforms. Here are the highlights:
- Features with True Curves can now be created and edited. (Note, the Sketch Editor has not yet implemented this function). Additionally, ArcGIS Enterprise Feature Services with True Curves can now be visualized and edited (online only, offline is planned).
- New Geotrigger API – this makes it easy to create geofences (an area), monitor them (entering/leaving) in a mobile app, and respond accordingly.
- Mobile Geodatabases created with ArcGIS Pro (from 2.7) can now be used with ArcGIS Runtime, including for editing. This enables offline editing workflows without ArcGIS Feature Services.
- Indoor maps in the structure for ArcGIS Indoors can now be used in 2D maps. With a Floor Manager, floors can be turned on and off.
- Update of Arcade (1.4)
- and much more.
