Problem using Quick Export in model builder

I am trying to build a model that will automate the export of a number of layers from our geodatabase to another format and I'm having a problem setting the output dataset for Quick Export tool in a model. I am using ArcGIS Desktop v10 sp4, and have a licenced copy of Data Interoperability extension - and it is active. The problem I am having is that I am unable to set the output dataset for the quick export tool in the model.

Outside of a model, I am able to set the output dataset for the Quick Export tool when run manually without any problems. However when the Quick Export tool is opened from within a model, nothing happens when I click the output dataset browse button?? I'm able to set the input layers without a problem, but not the output dataset.



[LEFT]I have also tried the Quick Import tool in a model, and the input dataset browse button works fine.

This behaviour is the same in both ArcMap and ArcCatalog, and whether I have the data interoperability extension active or not.


Am I  missing something or setting something wrong?
