File error - ArcGis Pro

Question

Hi all,

I am using ArcGis Pro and working on a Virtual Desktop. I am having continuous issues with the files. They are working one day, and then the following day I am unable to open files. The error that I get is the following:

Failed to open Project;

Error:

ProjectService::OpenProjectAsync Failed

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I am also having this issue using Virtual Desktop. Opens fine through remote desktop.

Thank you for your answer. The issue persists even when browsing the Project workspace from Windows Explorer...

Could you browse to the Project workspace  from Windows Explorer, and double-click the Project File (*.aprx) to open it? Does the issue still persist?
