Export data question

Question

I have been asked by another department in my area to geocode a dataset and then export the information to them. They are not wanting or needing to use ArcGIS (heathens, I know), but in Tableau. Is this even possible or should I tell them to go elsewhere?

I would just use Table to Excel​ and pass it off to them with a friendly 'good luck'.

What format can be read ? what format do they want it in?  My inclination would be the latter
