I've been tasked with 'creating xml to define WMS and WMTS services in a OGC CSW compliant format' via FME. After research, it appears that this would involve creating CSW records as xml that one sends into an existing CSW Server. Is this interpretation correct, or is there, as the customer seems to suggest, an xml format that defines a collection of services in a OGC CSW xml format?
Any help, explaining what CSW involves is appreciate. I have the OGC CSW specification, which seems to back up the conclusions I'm leaning towards.
