Hello,

Should MapPoint.Z be the height above the ellipsoid(WGS84) or the height above the geoid (above mean sea level) for correct display in the SceneView?

Thanks

Hello @DmitriyKolokolnikov: Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. It really depends. So, if your elevation data is in HAE, then your operational data also needs to be in the same vertical coordinate system, in which case your z should be in HAE and similarly for height above geoid.

If you are using any world elevation services provided by Esri, then your data needs to be in height above geoid. If you are using any custom elevation data which is in HAE, then your data also needs to be in HAE.

If you have further questions please reach out to us.

Regards,

Koushik
