The Town of Sandwich, MA has an opening for a 40 hr/wk GIS Technician under the general supervision of the Assistant Town Engineer. Position provides responsible professional, technical, and varied work in management of the Town’s Geographic Information System (GIS). Work duties include GIS data collection, processing, maintenance and coordination between Town departments. Prepares maps to support department and Town projects and performs a wide range of other engineering and administrative functions for the department. An Associate’s degree in cartography, geography or civil engineering and a minimum of two years related experience preferred or any equivalent combination. Experience utilizing GIS is strongly preferred. Salary Range: $63,000 to $67,000 with excellent benefits.
