Hub for Enterprise Filtering

Does anyone know a way to change the way that Hub for Enterprise (11.1) filters datasets? I would like it to match the functionality on ArcGIS Online. 

In online, if I click on Month, I get the all options in radio buttons:

But in Enterprise, with the exact same dataset, if you click month, this is what you get:

So you have to go through the pain of typing out every month, rather than just clicking on them.

Same goes for Mode in AGOL:

Then Enterprise: 

Is it the way I set up the fields? These are just data tables, but I know a lot of the Hub users like to filter before downloading.
