We have an issue with our dashboard that we have just released to the public. There is an issue with performance that only occurs on iOS devices (tablets and Iphones) and in Safari Desktop browsers. Here is a summary of the issue and what we have found so far, but the short version is that the chart in the current dashboard is causing the performance issues. Note that we do have another dashboard that uses a chart and there are no performance issues with that dashboard, so I suspect there is a confluence of things causing the lag in this particular dashboard. If we could get some help to try and understand what is going on we would really appreciate it.
Issue with iOS or Safari: View navigation widget lagging for List and Chart
When we try to switch from List to Chart on dashboard it lags for about 45 seconds and then works fine again. When we are on List section, we are able to switch modality but it starts lagging when we try to switch to Chart section. It lags here too for about 45 seconds and then we are able to switch modalities.
Work done so far:
Identified that Chart widget is causing this issue. Tried adding a table in place of chart and then the dashboard works as expected without lag.
