I made an EB a while back that included the ability to use the Add Data widget to upload KMLs and zipped SHPs and stuff. Unfortunately, everything got added as the same Orange color.

It's been a couple years, are we able to update symbology yet? Otherwise I'll make an Idea for it.

Hi @AlfredBaldenweck if you are on ArcGIS Online, the lastest version of Experience Builder allow the possibility to change the colour of added data.

Here the changelog : https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/experience-builder/announcements/whats-new-in-arcgis-exper...

Map Layers widget

At times, the default colors for layers added dynamically through widgets like Add Data, Query, Analysis, and others may blend into the map, making it challenging to differentiate them from other layers. By enabling the following option in the Map Layers widget settings, you can change symbols for these run time layers by selecting Use custom symbols.

I added an idea for this (link here) earlier this year. Based on some of the conversation in my idea's post, this may be on ESRI's to do list in the near term (whatever that means).

Oh, sweet. Do we have a timeline on when that may come for Enterprise, too?

It should be in Enterprise 12.0, whenever that comes out.
