Communities have some standard "sections". None of these sections though are really appropriate for "guides".

"Documents" is close, but is locked so most users can't make new posts there.

@abureaux, thank you for letting us know that there's a resource you'd like to see that doesn't feel like it's currently being provided. The Esri Community team works with Place and Group Managers (the people who request that we build them Boards in Esri Community) to offer guidance around best practices and what setup/features are likely to best meet their needs, though the Place and Group Managers themselves ultimately decide how their Place will be set up and function. Because of this, the way information is presented and to what degree can look a little different from Place to Place in Esri Community.

A couple of follow-up questions: (1) Is it ArcGIS Survey123 specifically that you're looking for an additional resource in? (2) What information would you be looking for in a Guide Board that isn't available via other Boards or other Esri resources like Help Documentation

You also mention that contributing to Documents is unavailable to most users — is contribution support content something you'd be interested in doing? A selection of members who aren't Esri staff have been given enhanced permissions to contribute Blog articles, and that's something we could certainly discuss more if you'd like to explore the opportunity.

Okay, that explains why each group felt a little different! Makes sense.

1. Not quite. I am definitely more active in S123, but this is something I've wanted to see in the Enterprise area as well. My 'goal for 2024' is to expand my horizons and make better use of this amazing community at large.
2. The Help Docs are amazing, but I am thinking more the 'practical application of techniques', as seeing things in action can give new insight into old features/workflows (at least for me). For example, post install server-hardening and testing practices for Enterprise. In addition to following a few help docs (which I think would be neat to see in action), I keep a SHP file on hand for uploading to Portal alongside making a native feature within Portal. These were little operability tips I heard from Esri staff that I don't recall reading anywhere. Or, using something like using FME or Power Automate for business-specific workflows. There are already a couple good Esri posts on this, but nothing that delves too deeply into potential workflows. For instance, using S123 for completing a form (obviously), and then setting up a multi-stage Flow to leverage dataverse for long-term approval support.

I'd be interested in learning more about blog articles.
