Hello,
I have been creating a hydrograph using standard archydro workflow in ArcGIS Pro 3.4. Everything goes well until I attempt to use the “Drainage Line Processing” tool. The tool will not recognize any of the flow direction rasters created within the project (multiple iterations were created in order to achieve an accurate flow accumulation). When running the tool, I keep getting “Error 000229: cannot open fdr.”
I determined that the fdr file is not the problem, as other tools, such as “Basin” in the spatial analysis toolbox works fine when using the same fdr raster file as an input within the same project.
Thank you for any help.
Best Regards,
Aaron
Solved! Go to Solution.
I made a new map importing the vector data and DEM source then re-ran all Arc Hydro geoprocessing steps, but without creating iterations of the flow direction raster. This time the Drainage Line Processing Tool accepted the fdr and everything worked out. So, try to get all lines burned and walls built correctly the first time.
