I am trying to recreate a Trace Network in order to add some complex edges I'd left out of my original conversion.  After disabling topology and deleting the UN I attempted to create another but receive the message:

160084: Cannot create a dirty area outside the topology's spatial domain.—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

But unfortunately no documented solutions.

Any ideas?

@RobertThomson

Using the data you provided I was able to reproduce and confirm that we've addressed this issue in the upcoming 2.9 release.  I've exported this as BUG-000140438: Create Trace Network fails with Error 160084: "Cannot create a dirty area outside the topology's spatial domain."

Jon can you confirm this is fixed now that 2.9 is out?

Hi Robert,

Yes, the fix for this issue was included with 2.9 and the recent 2.8.2 patch.
