I have a land cover raster that has forest data, it has a resolution of 1000 x 1000 m, and protected forests in vector data. I am trying to resample the land cover raster to have a resolution of 100 x 100 m. The resampling appears to work in the sense that I have Land_Cover_100m raster that has 10 times more cells, the file size is 100 times bigger, and the new smaller forest cells are covering up the old ones, but the COUNT values in the new raster match the original 1000m raster.
I need to calculate the area of forests that are within and outside of the protected areas so I need the COUNT to be accurate. Can I use Raster Calculator multiply the COUNT field by 10? And if so, how?
