Our County GIS shop supports our dispatch system with home-grown centerline/address data. We have a good data set but don't have any attributes that support basic routing like speed limits and turn information. Our fire chiefs would very much like me to provide this to our dispatch center and we're trying to figure out where to start. Our CAD vendor suggested Here data as a good source of that information.
Is there anybody else out there that did this themselves? Did you buy data to get you started? How long did it take? (We have 45,000 centerline segments, a mix of rural and surburban, so nothing too crazy, but not nothing.)
