Greetings Community, my name is Joshua Sagona and serve as a Geographer for the Army Corps of Engineers, Surveys and Mapping Branch, out of the New York District. I'm self taught and still relatively new to GIS and ESRI. I have a degree in Marine Sciences and a minor in Coastal Geology. My office is charged with surveying (hydrographic, topographic, and LiDAR) the federal channels, beaches, and other areas of importance for the New York District. I have created several different dashboards, field maps, experiences, and surveys. I also served 4.5 years active duty with the United States Coast Guard and continue my service as a Reservist for Sector New York where I act as a Pollution Responder. I've used GIS with the USCG for our Intelligence department as well as within the Incident Management Division. I look forward to connecting with those of you in the community. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
We’re glad to officially welcome you, Joshua! Based on everything you shared in your intro, it sounds like you have a lot to gain from this Community, as well as a lot to contribute.
It looks like you’ve been exploring the Esri Community for a little while now, including getting involved in the ArcGIS Survey123 Questions Board — that’s great. By now, you've likely already gathered that Esri Community is a global community where you can find solutions, share ideas, and collaborate to solve problems with GIS.
