Hey! Newbie to GIS. Just earned my Bachelors in GHY and GIS cert in May. about 4/5 months in to my first GIS tech job for one of Washington's bigger fruit companies. Looking to meet and network with anyone who has also used GIS in the ag field.

We’re glad to officially welcome you, @MattCarocci!

It looks like you’ve had a chance to explore the Esri Community for a little bit, including getting involved in the ArcGIS Pro area — that’s great. By now, you've likely already gathered that Esri Community is a global community where you can find solutions, share ideas, and collaborate to solve problems with GIS. Noting the industry you're working in, you'll want to make sure you bookmark our Agriculture area of the Community as well.

Also, don't miss these helpful resources:

And always feel encouraged to reach out if you have any questions about using Esri Community!

Awesome! I'm from the world of public gardens and arboreta. Not agriculture exactly, but maybe tangentially? Mapping trees & shrubs is my daily grind. Hope it's a great career for you too!

Hi Laurel

Excuse the delay. I totally forgot about my post. Would love to connect and discuss the wins and woes of mapping trees, different varieties, substrains, etc.
