I have a database of woolly mammoth specimen finds from all over the world - I can map these locations easily!
I also have a database of woolly mammoth *parts* that are currently held in museums all over the world - I can map these easily too!
What I'm wondering is if it is possible to somehow link these two together *such that* when a user clicks on a woolly mammoth specimen (say, somewhere in Siberia) - all of the loctations where *parts* of this mammoth are held (London, New Haven, New York, St. Petersburg) are highlighted on the map?
Does anyone know if there is an easy or at least somewhat easy way to implement this functionality, or is this something that would actually have to be programmed?
