The Research Associate will join a team of researchers and informaticians at the Center for Biodiversity and Global Change at Yale University to build, manage, and analyze geospatial biodiversity datasets for global conservation science. They will analyze and prepare global-scale geospatial species and environmental data and liaise with partners and experts. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining rigorous data standards and retaining scientific integrity. They will work closely with other team members to ensure science products are delivered in a timely and efficient manner and will be responsible for establishing new workflows and standardized metadata. The Center for Biodiversity and Global Change at Yale University is home to Map of Life, which supports effective global biodiversity education, monitoring, research, and decision-making by assembling and integrating a wide range of knowledge about species distributions and their dynamics over time.
