What would be the behavioral differences in the Upgraded Geodatabase, when it's upgraded using the below 2 approaches.

Source Geodatabase (version 10.6): Oracle 12c

Target Geodatabase: Oracle 19c

  1. Upgrade Geodatabase using ArcMap 10.8.1
  2. Upgrade Geodatabase using ArcGIS Pro 3.0

@Ranga_Tolapi the version of the geodatabase would be different.

ArcMap 10.8.1 will upgrade your geodatabase to version 10.8.1.

ArcGIS Pro 3.0 will upgrade your geodatabase to version 11.0.0.

if you check the geodatabase version after the sde repository upgrade with ArcGIS Pro 3.0 you will notice that the geodatabase version displays as 11.0.0.3.0, you can also query the table "sde.version".
