Max number of columns in UN table?

What is the maximum number of columns one can have in a UN feature class? We are on Oracle 19. For this database, the maximum is 1000. Am I right in thinking this will be our cut-off?

Are you really thinking of implementing something with that many columns? I'm really interested in your use case for this. Thanks

No, we have about 700 columns in our electric network point features. But there are only about 200 unique columns. Also, there are some legacy, aka garbage, columns in there. So, we may be able to get it down to sub 200. I am just wondering what the upper limit of the model is.
