Hallo liebe Esri Community,
Just translated your post
Dear Esri community ,
I have placed the 60-day trial of ArcGIS for Desktop . If even all great so far .
Now I have received coordinates of individual points of an area with a Garmin GPSmap 60CSx , GPS and would now like to add in ArcMap and represented as dots on the map .
Is there a way or a program ( free) as I may add points directly into eg . Excel without typing them individually in order to then integrate attribute table in the shapefile ?
I hope you understand what I mean and can help me. Thank you already for your help
If you explore into the directory of the GPS, you might find a *.gpx file. You could convert this file into a feature using GPX To Features—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS for Desktop .
Danke!
Es ist nicht in deutsch aber das hilft dir vielleicht: How to Export a GPX File From a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx | eHow und dann kannst du was Jayanta gepostet hat benutzen.
And the DNR Garmin utility is a great, free program for all things between Garmin and ArcGIS.
