Hi all.  When using extent indicators in an index map, it would be much better for my application if I could use a point symbol (ie:  star, circle, 3D city, etc...) rather than the boundary polygon.  Thanks!

David

As long as the point was an option instead of a replacement this is a great idea.

Thank you for the idea! In ArcGIS Pro, you are able to use a point as an extent indicator by setting the 'Collapse to Point' option found in the extent indicator's properties pane. I've included a link to the help doc for this topic where you can find further instructions.
