Remain unsubscribed to post after editing a comment

Scenario:

1. I have a comment in a post like this one: Our Thanks to Esri Community MVPs
2. I've unsubscribed to that post -- to avoid getting email notifications when people post new comments.
3. I go back to my comment and make an edit.
4. I've been automatically re-subscribed to that post and am getting email notifications again (screenshot). That's not what I want.

Could that behavior be changed so that the user remains unsubscribed after editing a comment?

Thank you @Bud for the idea. We are reviewing this feature.

Currently, our platform has some limitations, but we are trying to review if we can make any customizations.
