We would like to build a Survey123 form based on an existing feature service. We would like for the field user to select an existing record, GPS that point using an external receiver, submit and then automatically be prompted for the next record in the feature service. The feature service will have an attribute with sequential numbering that will determine the order of each record.

Hi @Anonymous User,

No, this is not possible from within Survey123 when editing existing features you need to use the Inbox. On submission of a survey, it is not possible to prompt next survey from an attribute. However if you go into the Inbox, hit refresh, and are using a query that removes the completed/updated surveys, you will only see the ones left to complete, these can be sorted through the available sort options.

Another option is if you are using a dashboard, webmap or another application that displays a list or map of the existing features, and launching the survey from a URL scheme, you could requery and display the next in the list in that application.

Regards,

Phil.
