I have been performing clustering analysis using all models DBSCAN, HDBSCAN and OPTIC. I have performed this analysis a tool to identify population distribution of ancient cities. It is obvious that population distributions are affected by terrain, so I suspect that an option to the clustering model that would be useful is to base distances on a cost grid. I think such an option would be useful in a myriad of studies, with terrain being a factor
