Apologies for the noob post, but can anyone recommend a way to create a series of identical polygons along a curved path, like a road edge?

I've used the divide tool on a polygon in George Street to get what I want, but this tool won't work for the curved line along Rolleston Drive/Henley Close (shown below).

Would I be heading in the right direction by using the Traverse tool?

Thanks in advance!

What about creating polygons like those you presented on the direct line, and then just aligning them along your curved line?
