Cannot select all Annotation text

Hello, 

Whenever I open the Edit > Annotation too, and select all my Annotation text at once, an Information Message appears apparently telling me to only select "one" annotation feature.

What I'd like to do is just change all of them to the color red. Is there not a way I can do this for all at once?
And is there not a "Font Color" field in the Attribute Table to make this edit?

Use the Attributes pane for that.
