Good Day,

I am trying to export Utility Network or Trace Network assets from a Network Diagram to a (Common Information Model) CIM xml. ArcGIS Pro SDK or Arcpy, I could only find Cartographic Information Model.

Are Cartographic Information Model and Common Information Model of Schematics the same?

If yes, Is there any resource available for export of networks to CIM or DNOM either in arcpy or ArcGIS Pro SDK

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi @rohanrajan_hms
The answer is No; Cartographic Information Model and Common Information Model are not the same.
I would like to know more about what you want to do with your network diagram?
Maybe the Export Diagram Content tool can help you? Such a method, GetContent, also exists among our Pro SDK  methods

@AnneYvonneBlin Thank you for the clarification. I intend to export network diagrams to CIM or DNOM format.

Anyway, thank you.

@rohanrajan_hms : I recently published an article on the various ways of exporting network diagrams. Please have a look: Export Network Diagrams.
