Currently we can set text color on each piece of text through the use of text formatting tags. This makes it very convenient to build blocks of text with text portrayed in different colors based on some attribute. It would be great to be able to control the text outline as well as halo color through the use of text formatting tags as well. This would allow for multiple halo colors per block of text which is not currently available in any capacity.
Sometimes a while halo works great, but when its used on yellow for example on a light background it makes it very hard to read the text. In this case I would want a dark halo around light colors, and light halo around dark colors within the same text element.
Please consider implementing this so we can utilize attributes when creating text elements, labels, and annotation blocks of text.
it would be great to be able to add halos to part of label expression, example:
This is an <halo>IMPORTANT</halo> place
QGIS has been able to do this for 8 year...
