Please add the option when creating a custom grid for a map frame to tell it to ignore the map clip shape, like we can for the UTM grid. We have a custom PLSS township/range grid that displays townships on the right side and ranges along the bottom.
However, when the underlying map is clipped to an outline (for example to show archaeological sites within a buffered area), the township/range labels show up on the buffer outline.
As a result, we have to manually place labels for the township and range boundaries individually for each layout. This is tedious and prone to error when we are producing 30 or 40 layouts for a large area at 1:24,000, each one with different township/range boundaries.
