Pro Version 3.1

I noticed today that I seem to be unable to use a Query Layer as a spatial map series's index. Or rather, it'll let me do it just fine, but it won't generate anything.

I thought that this was possibly because of the nature of my query, but to be sure, I added in a fresh one that was what you get when you double-click on a table from the list of tables

and compared it to just pulling that same feature class in straight.

Here's what happened:

This is odd.

Please update Map Series functionality to include Query Layers; I use them routinely for my work and the alternative of creating a local copy to serve as the Index is in-efficient and static.

Thanks!

@AlfredBaldenweck ,

Query layers as a map series index layer should already be supported. However, there was a bug submitted - BUG-000165446 REGRESION: Query Layers can no longer be used as index layer of a spatial map series - which was addressed in the ArcGIS Pro 3.3. release.

I've confirmed Query layers work as a map index layer with Pro version 3.4.

Hmm. Well, we're about to upgrade to 3.3, so it'll be another thing to look forward to.

I guess this can be marked as Already Offered. Thanks!
