Analysis Tool - Missing from some students option list

Students in my grade 9 geography course have been participating in the tutorial 'Exploring ArcGIS Online Analysis' by Esri Canada. Some students do not have access to the analysis button available. What is the fix for this issue? 

They are participating in the December 2018 analysis version, where the ArcGIS setup is quite different regarding the instructions. Is there an updated version of this tutorial to assist with ease of navigation and allow students to conduct this activity independently?
