I'd like to see @Esri offer an app template where you could simply select a hosted feature layer field containing a URL, so that when users hover over a feature it gets highlighted and when they click on a feature, it automatically open the web page for the selected item (as opposed to clicking on a feature and then having to click a link in a pop-up).
