URL parameters can be used to pass along additional information or instructions to Map Viewer, controlling the maps that are opened, their zoom level, layer visibility, and more.

I've been thinking a lot about ways to optimize Arcade expressions lately. A lot of our users need things that are just beyond the capabilities of a layer as it is built, but which can be accomplished through Arcade in some way, usually with a Data Expression.

You may also test out these features by signing up for the ArcGIS Online Early Adopter Community (EAC) with your ArcGIS Online login. Within the ArcGIS Online testing environment, EAC members can try upcoming features, test compatibility with their existing workflows, influence product development, and engage with the ArcGIS Online development team and other members of the EAC. EAC opens on October 25.
