I'm working on a snow plow routing project where plows need to make multiple u turns along the road network. I used network analyst to make the route and placed plenty of stops (which were converted to waypoints) to direct the route.
While the route and generated directions are what I needed, when I simulate my routes on my phone in Navigator, the orange arrow to show the next turn extends the entire length of the road I am doing a u turn on (see first photo), instead of only showing up closer to the turn.
I've looked at previous employees work and seen that it is possible to have a shorter u turn arrow (see second photo), but can't tell how that happened by looking at their routes in pro, which have identical settings to mine.
