With the ArcGIS Online update on April 13, the team incorporated a number of ArcGIS Ideas. Check out the list below for the details.
New Map Viewer:
The new Map Viewer, formerly known as Map Viewer Beta, incorporates a lot of Map Notes and sketching ideas with the addition of sketch layers. The GIF below showcases some of the new text and pop-up capabilities, such as changing text size, disabling a pop-up, and choosing to display a pop-up only with a title.
Ideas:
Partnered Collaboration:
Partnered Collaboration introduces cross-organizational shared update groups, enabling members of two different organizations to collaboratively build a web map.
Ideas:
Instant Apps:
The introduction of Instant Apps standardizes the app configuration experience and offers a more standardized set of widgets across templates.
Ideas:
Home Page:
Administrators and Site Managers can now customize colors and apply styles to text blocks, as well as create text hyperlinks.
Ideas:
Experience Builder:
The introduction of the Query and Chart widgets in ArcGIS Experience Builder enables a lot of different options for searching through your datasets and graphically representing your data in meaningful ways.
Ideas:
Notebooks:
You can now schedule notebooks - for non-admins, make sure the Schedule Notebooks role permission is enabled.
Ideas:
Thank you to everyone that submitted ideas, and please continue letting us know what you want to see in ArcGIS Online through the ArcGIS Online Idea Exchange!
