Hello.
I need to create a new project for a hub initiative. I am not the administrator, but I am part of the core team. According to this ESRI FAQ page, 'Core team members can create a new project and will be the owner.'
However, asside from 'New item' options, the only page I can access any where that has a 'New' option is the hub Overview page (where I can only create a new page).
Interestingly, when I visit the Core team information page, creating projects is not among the list of privileges shown. (Perhaps because that list does not add Premium hub privileges that may differ?)
Can someone share a screeenshot or two showing what the page(s) look like that I need to navigate to in order to create a new project?
Or can you share the end of the url to the New Project page once you get there? I was able to get to a projects page by adding 'projects' to the end of the url but could not see a way to add a new project from there. So I tried a ... .com/project/edit/new and .com/project/edit and both gave me error messages.
Thanks in advance!
Lisa
Hello Lisa,
Members of the core team should have the ability to create projects in Hub. Accessing projects can be done through an existing Hub site. When you navigate to an existing Hub site, you can access the new dropdown menu in the content library, which includes the option to create a new project. Another way is to visit the live view of the Hub site and access the 'New' dropdown menu from the global navigation bar. This menu will also allow you to create a new project.
