Unable to Open - Error invoking Service

Hello all,

This started as an intermittent fault around a week to 10 days ago. Intermittent in that sometimes the map would open other times it wouldn't.

Now I cannot open any maps, I have tested on both iOS and Android and get the same error as shown in the attachment.

One of these maps has been in use in Field Maps for several months with no issues. I have deleted and reinstalled the Field Maps app but am unable to open any maps on either mobile device.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @PeterMcdonnell_1968 

Are you able to access the map over AGOL/Enterprise? I'd check to see if the service is up and going on there. Along with that, you can view the Field Maps troubleshooting logs by going to your profile on field maps, then scroll down to troubleshooting, and then pressing the view logs button, I would check to see if anything unusual appears there, and if so, attach a screenshot so we can check out what the issue could possibly be!

Hi Cody,

Thanks for getting back to me. It turns out our basemap provider has updated their service.  I needed to add the new basemaps to all web maps on AGOL.
