Hello,

I would like to configure field maps to use existing fields for radio buttons etc.

Is this possible? Ideally i dont want to have to add all the fields again manually in field maps designer and then calculate the values from the existing fields and then delete the old fields!

Thank you

Hi, it was my mistake. I needed to add the field and then change its type to a radio button type! I was adding a radio button form element!

Yes, depending on your data set up and version. If you're using Enterprise 10.9.1 or later, it is available.

Also, according to this post, you need to have a default value set in order to use radio buttons. Then you can just go into the form designer and choose radio button from the option:

Thank you. I am using field maps designer from a hosted feature layer.

When i add a radio button and type the field name it says it must be unique. The field has a default value set

Thanks!

Ah, I actually haven't ever constructed a form this way, mostly I drag the field into the form and then set the input type. I assume you have a domain applied to that field?

After a quick test, I got the same thing as you when I added a radio button, but if I added the field and then selected radio button, it worked out just fine. Can you see if it makes a difference in yours?
