Hi, just wondering if anyone can help. I have created a feature layer with subtypes for different types of surveys. When a type of survey is selected various other fields are pre-set as well as a field that uses contingent values only showing the relevant options for that subtype.
I was hoping to be able to use these subtypes to create Templates for each of the survey types in Field Maps. So the user would select the relevant survey template and the various fields and dropdown options would be pre-set (as for the subtype). However when trying to set this up the feature layer appears to need to have a default subtype set, which results in each of the templates being the same (?!).
Does anyone know a way of overriding this default subtype within the templates? Or an alternative way of setting something similar up (I know I could set the defaults for each template without using subtypes, but can't see another way to set filtered contingent values).
