How do I make the Legend More Simpler?

I am making a simple interactive map for a client. Because of how I symbolize the points, the legend widget looks like this:

I just want the color and the name of the layer, however. It looks like this even in the map viewer, so I assume the only way to fix this is to literally remove the gradated symbology, but...even the base one has too much.

I mean...I am not sure what to use as a solution. Do I just not use a legend and hope people know what to use? Is there much way to make the legend more simple?

BANDAID: I went online and found a square symbol, and made a text box with the right colors.

Have you tried creating the symbology in Pro and then publishing this to ArcGIS Online?
