Using Drone2Map version 2024.1.1

I am processing drone images from our redd survey photos which are taken on an alpine lake. I understand there is a lot of difficulty with stitching photos taken of water especially ones with few differences between shots. With some of our transects I have had success in achieving high levels of image calibration. In other transects there are uncalibrated images with redds in them, so I am attempting to get those to calibrate. I was told there is an 'alternate' calibration setting, but I cannot find it. Any help is appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of the orthomosaic I am currently working on. I have also attached finished orthomosaics that I would like to improve if possible.

Also, I have tried increasing the image scale, matching neighborhood, and using 'rolling shutter correction' to no avail. In some instances using those options increased the amount of uncalibrated images.

Fundamentally, the image matching performed by Drone2Map requires the ability to see features on the ground that are not moving - so unless the water is extremely calm and you can see the lake bottom clearly in each image (with no sky reflections or wavecrests) the block adjustment will fail since it is looking for fixed features.

Your best approach may be to use the Image Collection directly, without block adjustment.  Contact me via email (see private message)
