Hi,

In ArcGIS Pro 3.4 there a two workflows for implementing this and depending on the number of feature classes to be validated one may work better than the other.

Note: if this is the only error condition you need to evaluate then you might want to consider using the Check Geometry tool instead.

Scenario 1: I need to run Check Geometry check on many feature classes in my geodatabase.

  • The use of a validation attribute rule may be the best solution here although it does entail modifying the source data to include a GlobalID and editor tracking fields.
  • Here is a tutorial for implementing this workflow.
  • Note: You may be able skip the manual process of creating the rule in each feature class. Create the rule manually in a feature class and export the rule to a csv using the Export Rules command in the attribute rules view. You can then use Import Attribute Rules tool to automate loading this rule into other feature classes.

Scenario 2: I need to run Check Geometry check on just a couple of feature classes in my geodatabase.

  • Starting at ArcGIS Pro 3.4, many of Data Reviewer's checks can be used without the overhead associated with creating an attribute rule. Note: Currently only file and mobile geodatabases are supported in workflow.
  • Here is the doc on using the Run Data Check command

Hope this gets you started.
