Hi,
We are trying to adjust the symbology for a point layer in ArcGIS Dashboard so that it dynamically changes colours based on the extent of values in the current map view. This functionality is similar to how charts respond when the map extent changes.
The way users interact with the dashboard is typically to display one formation at a time or multiple formations for comparison (please see attachments). However, due to the large dataset, the bubbles appear to be the same size, making it difficult to discern trends in the numeric column values (gross_tvt). Users find it challenging to differentiate the points because the bubbles are almost identical in size and lack colour variation to indicate magnitude.
Is there a smart way to dynamically colour the points or adjust the bubble sizes? We found an article that seems to address our needs, but it is specific to raster data: arcgis desktop - Can the maximum and minimum values of raster display be changed automatically when ...
It would be beneficial if we could calculate the minimum and maximum values of the numeric column (gross_tvt) and have the map change the colour of the points from red to green depending on the map extent.
