Hi,

I want to try to import AIXM 5.1 Messages tool to import AIXM5.1 file from my colleague but there is an error shows that the target geodatabase must be AIS geodatabase schema and I don't have one.

I remember that I asked this question about year ago about how to create AIS geodatabase from AIS schema but that's for ArcGIS Desktop. Now I've migrated to ArcGIS Pro and I can't find this schema to import. Could you tell me where I can find it?

Hi,

In ArcMap the AIS schema xml workspace was installed with the Aviation Charting extension. In Pro, it is a separate download and install  from your 'My Esri' account.  Here is a link to the help doc on how to download  and install the Aviation Charting Product files, which include the AIS schema and a Python utility script to create an AIS geodatabase.

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/aviation/download-and-install-product-files...

Once you have the Product Files installed, you can set up your AIS geodatabase.  See this link for help doc on how to do that:  https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/aviation/set-up-an-aviation-geodatabase.htm

I tried to go to My Esri page with my organization account and it shows like this

And I've already link this account (bentorio) to my organization account but i didn't see download tab.

What should I do?

If signed into My Esri, there is a Common Questions section that you can search on how to download.. https://my.esri.com/#/questions/

I think if you do not see a Downloads tab under your 'My Organizations' then you have to request permission.   Under that same place there is a topic on 'Permissions', too.  You may also see a 'My Esri Help' sideways button along the right margin.  If you click that, there will be a 'Contact Us' link where you can email the My Esri support.    There is also a Community page for My Esri questions:
https://community.esri.com/t5/my-esri/ct-p/my-esri

Hopefully, you will be able to access and download software soon!

Thank you for your answer. I have another question. Does ArcGIS Pro has a feature builder like in ArcGIS desktop to create and link features such as airspace and runway?

Hi Bentorio,

Pro does not have a Feature Builder tool like in ArcMap.   We are evaluating what  tools Pro already has and we welcome user feedback on needs.   Pro has a Construct Geodetic editing tool which may be helpful to you for creating features like airspace:  https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/construct-geodetic-features.htm

For linking features in relationships, Pro (similar to ArcMap) has  'Add Selected to Relationship' context option on the Attributes window, see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/edit-feature-relationships.htm

The aviation team would be interested in learning about specific needs from users. If you have specific Feature Builder functions needed in Pro, please submit these as ideas at  https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-aviation-ideas/idb-p/arcgis-aviation-ideas

Thanks!
